Catering to both Western and English styles of riding, the
64,000 square foot “Saddleback Equestrian Center” is
destined to be an equine paradise. e barn area is equipped
with 32, oversized 16 x 14 stalls, all with personal tack
lockers. Also available in the barn are heated wash areas,
laundry facilities and an in-house veterinarian station for use
with the vet of your choice. Personal on-line stall cameras
are also available upon request for your monitoring convenience.
An additional 18 stall barn will house our
multi-discipline training staff. A variety of turn-outs are
available to meet your horses needs. Outdoor facilities
include a large roping arena and 100’ solid round pen, all
designed to accommodate the roper, cutter & working cow
horse enthusiasts. For our English riders we have a 220’ x
120’ jumping arena and a full size dressage court set
adjacent to the Cross Country Course developed by
international course designer Tremaine Cooper. e Cross
Country Course will cater to a variety of riders with full
courses from the Beginner Novice to the Preliminary levels.
If the Cross Country Course is to fast paced for you, we also
offer Canterbury Trails - a trail system spanning miles of
scenic routes in open space that’s groomed during the winter
season for superb cross country skiing. While enjoying the
trails, you might stumble across the Hitchin Post Café,
nestled in the woods along beautiful Darby Creek. At the
Hitchin Post Café you can hunker down with a fresh cup of
hot coffee and a slice of homemade pie.
